UH1-B finished

been building this for a few months. finally done

This was a kit from Fly Model. Skins had all kinds of fit issues. There was plenty of "rez" parts to fill in the gaps though. good detail but most of the controls and seats were fabricated from photos of actual helicopters. I was hoping to do a recolor on this with different insignia but my printer wouldn't match greens. Anyway, I finished the build. All that's left is to give it away!

Back by popular demand. . .

Pyramid Morrigan!!!

This totally outlandish concoction of test build and build in progress has generated a rather enthusiastic response.

Now it would appear I need to finish her wings to complete the look. Anyway, here are a few pics to tide you over till then.

My second kit model

ModelCard F-16. This was alot of fun to build. Very basic but has all the essentials of the plane.

Nothing new to post so I thought I would say what's going on. Currently building the grand piano from creative park over at the canon site, pics to follow shortly. As far as design I'm working on another silent hill baddie. Once I get the model ready for unfolding I'll post some pics.

This one built really well. Anyone interested should check it out at Canon Creative Park. They have all kinds of stuff there.

Here he is finally! about 2 feet (60cm) tall when finished. Much thanks to Chou for his mentoring and tutoring. If you want to give it a shot, here it is:

Aya Brea (Parasite Eve) Papercraft - My bit of practice

Aya Brea, the protagonist of one of my favorite game series Parasite Eve. I played PE2 too many times to count. It simply sucks that the 3rd game is on psp and I will not get one to play one game!lol  I would have thought (hoped) Square Enix would release them on xbox as a collection, but it would appear it will remain a Sony realease.
Anyway, I did this for practice since I'm not too well versed at unfolding, reducing polygons, adding textures ...

I test built up to the arms and started seeing things I could have and should have done differently. Maybe one day I will go back in and work on it some more and refine it more, but if you would like to attempt to build it I have the link below. Just remember, I know it doesn't build perfect so be nice!

Better yet, forget about mine and head over to JP Papercraft and get Chous Aya. Much better model!

Ok, after a little tinkering here is a more feminine aya in her 3rd birthday outfit

this one is buildable. Chou and I have kicked this model around quite a bit, so this is probably going to be the last variation of her for a while. Still, I had fun working with him on all this. Thanks again buddy!

Pyramid Head Papercraft WIP

Here's my first attempt at creating a model. Hopefully Chou will help me through the tricky parts.

OK, Lots to learn. The wonderful and patient master of the model ( Chou ) has given
me tons of assistance and tutoring on this side of papercraft models. I can't thank him enough
for the insight behind the modeling aspect and taking the time to pass it along
to me. Updates to follow soon. Needless to say, the above screenshot is NOT (lol)
an indication of the new unfold! Muchas gracias mi amigo en el mundo de papel :)

Pyramid Morrigan!

here are some pics of the sword that Chou built. The ridges on top look
a little bit intimidating to build when you realize that it isn't really that big.
Awesome work amigo!

here's the belt and his collar. All that's left is the torso. That part for some reason
is giving me a hard time. Shouldn't be much longer and I'll have it up here.

OK! Torso reworked to be all one piece with the arms attached

I have a few pics of the test of it and its coming out pretty good. I guess the Aya model was good for practice after all!!

It's hard to see in the pics but the muscle definition and texture
details came out awesome. Granted, more polys mean more
parts, but in the end I think it is worth the extra time building.

Pyramid Shrunken Head!

All that's left are the parts that I don't like to build, the hands.
Need to make a few scale adjustments and he's ready to go.
just to avoid confusion, yes his head is small( for now) the head is
part of the scale issue. this head is the first test build head. I just
thought it would look odd without his head in these pics.
Correct scales are coming! Building his new head now.
Pyramid shrunken head, not so intimidating.
